Word Scramble is a free browser word game where every letter becomes a movable tile. Read the clue, drag the mixed letters into the correct order and check your answer. You can switch between animal, food, space and fantasy themes whenever you fancy a change.

How to play

• Choose a theme or stay with the current one.
• Look at the mixed letter tiles and read the clue.
• Drag the tiles left, right or onto another row until the word looks correct.
• Press Check Answer when you are happy with the order.
• Use a hint if you are stuck. Correct answers are worth more points without a hint.
• Shuffle the current letters or skip a word whenever your brain has officially resigned.

Controls

Word Scramble is designed around touch and mouse controls. Press and drag any letter tile to move it, then drop it where you want. There is no keyboard input needed, which makes the game much nicer on phones and tablets.

There is nothing to install. Open the game in a modern browser on mobile, tablet or desktop, press Play and the game opens in the full-screen Towntune player.
